Arranging your own transport to/from Dublin Airport

We are happy to assist you with some useful information to help you arrange your own transport to and from Dublin Airport to the City Centre.

The airport is only 10km from the city centre and is very well served by public transport.

There is plenty of information about getting to and from the airport on the Dublin Airport website.

DSE Airport Transfers

Airport transfers are included on some of our courses and this is stated with the relevant course description.

To arrange a transfer we require full flight information at least 5 working days prior to your arrival date.

You will be met at the Information Desk in the Arrivals Hall at Dublin Airport.  The person meeting you will hold a sign with your name on it. It is very important that you wait for your transfer if you do not make immediate contact. Contact is made within 45 minutes of your arrival time.

Where a departure transfer has been arranged by the School you must reconfirm your transfer at the School reception at least 3 working days prior to departure.

Booking an Airport Transfer

If you do not have an airport transfer included in your course, this service can be booked with the School at a supplement price.

Prices:

• Single transfer (flights arriving/departing between 0800 and 2000 hours): EUR 75.
• Additional passengers taking the same transfer i.e. staying in the same accommodation: EUR 50.

• Late transfer (flights arriving/departing between 2000 hours and 0800 hours): EUR 120.
• Additional passengers late transfer: EUR 75.

Public transport and taxi services are a cheaper option.

Unaccompanied minors and Airport Transfers

Some Airlines have an unaccompanied minors  policy for younger children travelling alone.  Please check this with your Airline when booking flights for younger children.

We can provide a check-in service where we accompany the young student to the Airport, check-in and remain with the student until he/she is handed to an official representative of the Airline company.

Price:

• Unaccompanied minors check-in service: EUR 60 per transfer.

Group Airport Transfers Information

We offer complimentary transfers when a group of 5 or more persons arrive on the same flight and travel to the same accommodation or to the same drop-off point.

This applies to flights arriving between 0800 and 2000 hours only.

Airport Meet & Greet Service

We offer a meeting service at Dublin Airport as an alternative to the full transfer service. This service is designed to give you a cost effective alternative to our airport transfer service.  A standard meet & greet service is for flights arriving and departing between 08:00 and 20:00 only. Flights outside these times are considered late meet & greets.

Your client will be met at the “Information Desk” in Dublin Airport (in your terminal of arrival) by a representative of the school. They will be provided with directions to their destination and brought to the taxi rank or express bus service.  If your client chooses to take a taxi we will make sure they know what the approximate fare will be and we will record the taxi license number of the driver in case of a dispute later.

If your client chooses to take an express bus service we will record the license number of the bus service they take.  We will also follow up any complaints or disputes with the taxi or bus company on behalf of your client. Your client must keep a receipt for the express bus journey or taxi as a condition of using this service (in case we need to contact a bus or taxi company).

• Late meet & greet: EUR30
